Around the world in films

Films are great way to do armchair travelling. It is an easy way to experience and learn about other cultures. It is two way phenomenon. Watching films from different countries have informed about these countries, their histories and culture. This knowledge of the geographical setting has in turn enriched my film watching experience, enabling me to get more out of my films.

I’ve listed countries and the respective based on region. They’re chosen to reflect the culture and the society of the country it is set in as much as possible.
